Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at the University of Naples Federico II

I completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, gaining a solid foundation in both pure and applied mathematics. My coursework included subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Mathematical Analysis, Statistics, and Physics. I also explored Mathematical Logic through two dedicated courses and delved into Mathematical Finance, which provided insight into quantitative models for financial systems.

A significant portion of my studies was dedicated to computational mathematics and programming. I completed two courses focused on programming: one covering Fortran, C++, and Python, emphasizing the implementation of mathematical methods, and another on MATLAB, where I tackled mathematical problem-solving and numerical analysis. Additionally, I opted for a third programming course primarily centered on Python, further enhancing my proficiency in algorithmic problem-solving and data analysis.

My Bachelor's thesis was in the field of Graph Theory and Topological Properties, which allowed me to integrate theoretical mathematics with practical applications, demonstrating the interplay between structure and space in mathematical frameworks.

Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty—a beauty cold and austere, like that of sculpture, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature, without the gorgeous trappings of painting or music, yet sublimely pure, and capable of a stern perfection such as only the greatest art can show.
